Thawing Frozen Lines

Frozen season can cause major issues with your sewer or water lines. If temperatures drop low enough, you’ll notice a halt in your plumbing. We’ve got the tools and technicians to get your lines thawed and flowing.

Frozen Water Lines

Water lines commonly freeze during the winter months. They typically freeze due to improper insulation or lack of a heat source. These locations include interior areas such as basements, crawl spaces, attics, garages, trailer houses/mobiles, kitchen cabinets, uninsulated exterior walls, or underground. To thaw frozen water lines we can apply heat tape or apply other sources of heat to thaw the lines. Before we can come thaw your frozen water lines, we require customers to read and sign our Frozen Water Lines Terms and Conditions form.

Frozen Sewer Lines

Once temperatures drop low enough to cause the ground to freeze, depending on the location, the sewer lines are also susceptible to freezing. We use Hot-Water Hydro Jetting to thaw frozen sewer lines. The jetter uses hot, high-pressure water to break through the ice. Once thawed, your system will be back up and running. However, if the weather doesn't change, the line is likely to freeze again without intervention.
